Celebrating Love
At Icing Smiles, we believe every child deserves to be remembered with love, dignity, and compassion. When a child passes away—whether expected or sudden—families are left navigating unimaginable grief while still wanting to honor their child’s life in a meaningful way.
Our Memorial Cakes are gifted to families as a heartfelt way to celebrate and remember a child who has passed. These cakes may be used for:
• Funeral or memorial services
• Celebrations of Life
• Angelversaries
• First birthdays or milestone dates after a child has passed
Each cake is lovingly baked and designed by a volunteer Sugar Angel, with care taken to honor the child’s story and the family’s wishes.
Who Memorial Cakes Are For
Memorial Cakes are available for families who have experienced the loss of a child.
Currently, Memorial Cakes are intended for:
• Children who passed away due to medical or unexpected circumstances
• Losses that occurred within the past two years
While these guidelines help us responsibly manage requests and volunteer capacity, our hearts remain firmly with families navigating grief. Every request is reviewed with compassion, and our goal is always to support families whenever possible.
Our Approach
We understand that grief looks different for every family—and loss does not follow a timeline.
