“Working with Icing Smiles and the local baker was a wonderful experience! After a really difficult year in the hospital, it was such a blessing to have a special 1st birthday cake made for our baby girl! The cake definitely exceeded our expectations! It was so pretty and the baker even included a smash cake for our daughter! We loved working with you guys and appreciate what you do. Thank you so much for helping make our daughter’s birthday so special!”Emma06222016 - cake

Sabriye“My daughter Sabriye was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on 12-31-16 at the age of 6. She underwent chemotherapy and was in remission until 1-13-15 when she relapsed. She underwent a bone marrow transplant on 4-21-15. Her 12 year old sister Taryn was her 10/10 match. Taryn donated her bone marrow. Sabriye is now 1 year post-transplant and doing well. She returned to school in Dec. 2015 and continues to do well. We are grateful for all of the prayers and support. I was pleasantly surprised, and TuTu Cute Cakes did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations.”

Lexi06222016“Lexi was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and a double-outlet right ventricle; which means she only has half a heart. She has had three open heart surgeries in her 4 short years. She endures in true superhero fashion! Her amazing superhero cake was a dream come true for our special little fighter. Thank you so very much! The fitting words of gratitude are hard to find. When Lexi was born there were no guarantees. This cake was a symbol of how far she has come and how far she can go. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Madeline“Madeline is the older sister of Fletcher. Sometimes being the sibling of a child with extreme medical needs is tough. What a great experience for Maddie to get to have a cake like this! We are so grateful that Madeline was able to have such a beautiful cake to share with her friends and family. She felt so special! Thank you again for allowing her to feel so loved!”

Anna“Our once very healthy son was diagnosed with a fast growing cancer at the end of July, 2015. Six+ months of chemo treatments and out of town and regular checkups have been difficult for our family to bear. But knowing others out there such as the volunteers involved with Icing Smiles really made a difference for our son’s birthday and his sister’s birthday. We could tell the beautiful, delicious cakes were made with love. We will always be able to look back on this experience with appreciation and feel like we weren’t facing the battle alone! God bless you!!! Thank you for including our son’s sister! That meant so much to all of us!”
