Not All Princesses Have Hair

On October 22, 2014, at the age of three, sweet Danni Rose was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She was rushed to Portland to undergo immediate treatment. In January 2015, Danni went into severe anaphylactic shock from one of her chemotherapy drugs and took a turn for the worse. To everyone’s amazement (including her doctor) she made a full recovery with no traces of long term side effects!

Danni is the youngest of 5 girls. She’s a real “girly girl.” She loves to play dress-up putting on dresses, playing in her mom’s make-up, and brushing everyone’s hair. She also loves to turn up the music and dance, ride her bike, and run around with her dog named Sparkle.

Currently Danni is in the maintenance phase of treatment and things are going well. Her mother describes her as a strong and courageous fighter whose laughter and smiles keep her going.

danni ramirez-001To celebrate Danni’s 4th birthday, Whitney Kinnaman of Kinnaman Cakes in Central Point, OR made a beautiful 3D princess doll cake that read, “Not all princesses have hair.” Very well stated Whitney! Princesses come in all shapes and sizes, and all ages and nationalities. We wholeheartedly thank our Sugar Angel Whitney for creating the perfect cake for Princess Danni to celebrate.

Danni’s mom shares, “Our baker Whitney went above and beyond with Danni’s cake. It surpassed my expectations. It was the cutest cake ever. She also made delicious cupcakes and adorable princess crown cookies with Danni’s name on them. They were Danni’s favorite.”
